Can’t believe mustang numbers are so low now. I knew they would slow down once all the enthusiasts got what they wanted, but 9 is lower that I expected

How many F150s are we expecting per month? 300 odd?

The problem at the moment is all S550 production stopped many months ago, any sales from then are simply remaining floor stock or fulfilled orders. No new Mustangs are due till export production of the S650 starts in January next year. S650's were initially expected to be here by now, but delay after delay has pushed that out to next year. I am one of those waiting for my car to be built. As usual for Ford, one of the oldest car companies in the world has big problems rolling out new models.

I'd guess about 2-300. Would have to be fairly similar to the Silverado, based on price. Would lean towards the 300, just because of the popularity and icon status of the F150

An article I saw last month (27-11-23) was saying that around 20 F Trucks a day were being remanufactured.
I was surprised thought that there would be about 300 delivered must have been ramping up production.. https://www.carexpert.com.au/car-new...-didnt-change# Quote:

22 hours is seriously impressive - thats nothing, compared to what all the old second stage manufacturers used to take.

Amazing how many Prados they're delivering at the moment.
For a long time they were capped around 1000 month, but recently jumped to 3000. They must be pulling them from other markets, I know they were popular in Russia.

Momentum is gathering in the political circles over everyone having a fetish for a Thailand Special, an American ute and SUVs, with people pushing for mandatory fuel efficiency standards. The kind of people who take the tram to work. I think its going to be hilarious when the F150 starts pumping more numbers than the lowest cost model in Ford's range (Puma). Quote:

Amazes me Ford just can't gain better consumer sales with Everest let alone Escape in both these sectors that sales are strong for other brands. IF and when Hyundai release a dual cab it won't be Ford sneaking to 2nd it will be them no doubt about it imo with their range. Mazda is impressive tbh still as well.

RAM 372 and down 47%.
With F150 out there now, I guess the once dominant Ram now how has a lot of competition with Chevrolet and Ford.

The market decides. Check the sales of large sedans. No one wants them even though other manufacturers try.

Channeling my inner anorak, noted that Mr I'm-triggered-by-size fetish was filmed riding a bicycle without a helmet.
That merits a stoning with life-expired falafels, surely.

That merits a stoning with life-expired falafels, surely. He could try pleading ignorance and put an f150 on afterpay. Unless he's in Victoria, in which case even the shrine of remembrance wont save him.

Incentives don't alter the market demand for vehicle type. Manufacturers aren't in control, as much as you might like to think they are forcing people to buy vehicles they don't want. They might bring products to market which have a honeymoon phase but long term, the trends do stabilise.

Having said that, the VF Commodore was still a 'top 3' seller in it last year on the market. I don't believe that a Kia Stinger, Skoda Superb or Citroen C5 is a good substitute for a VF Commodore. Dr Terry |

and yet Tesla don't seem to have any problems selling the large sedans.
Noted around $ydney, the Cupra seems to be the Uber choice vehicle.

I'd love to see those rules tightened up and enforced. The impact would be very interesting.
