Hi,
Purchased a 2014 Fiesta Ambiente for my daughters first car. Auto. The transmission is displaying all the TCM problems associated with that transmission. I have checked the Ford website using the VIN and it states the vehicle is eligible under a recall. My questions are, is this still within the extended timeframe and are I excluded because I am not the original owner. NB. I was aware the trans had a slight issue but it became worse after 200km's of driving.

I believe it’s a 10 year extended component warranty on the TCM. I don’t believe it’s a recall. If it is the tcm it should still be covered. Give your local Ford dealer a call with the vin number and ask them. |

The warranty on the Tcm is 10 years But the powershift auto warranty is only seven so for a 14 it ran out in 21 Take it to a ford dealer … quickly Hopefully it’s not a 1/1/14 build |

Thank you very much for the advice.
I will take it to my local Ford dealer Monday. My sister was told 2 weeks ago, by a Ford dealer, that it was OK. Just an oxygen sensor! No wonder these guy's got fined.
