Default Size of vacuum hose for fuel regulator to intake manifold?

Just replaced intake manifold gaskets and noticed this vacuum line is not in great condition and needs replacing. Does anyone know what size it is? thanks

You don't say (and you should always state: model, year, engine and trans configuration so we are not left playing detective) but I guess we have to presume it's your 97 EL again. It might also be more appropriate to post in the relevant section here https://fordforums.com.au/forumdisplay.php?f=29 or even https://fordforums.com.au/forumdispl...er=desc&page=2 rather than in the Pub. In any event, I suggest just measure it with verniers and get the closest fitting size here: https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/se...ose&lang=en_AU or take the old one to Supercheap or wherever and match it.

Take it off and go to any auto shop, they will give you the correct size and length required.

Always bet on 3mm.
If it ends up being 4 or 5 mm then there's a chance the 3mm could still be forced on with hot water or heat gun. Vice versa no good and will leak

Seriously though, that looks old, looks like 5 mm.

get some 4mm i.d silicon hose. re-route it from the reg around to that barb furtherest from it so you get a decent bend diameter on the hose. the hose that was on that furtherest barb, move it to the one closest to the reg.
