Never heard of them, but DCS is about to get a lesson in the Streisand effect.

Is it a case of any publicity is good publicity? Never heard of them before now, and I am guessing there are a lot of others the same.

Once the drama wears off, people will still remember the name.

Search "century battery quality" and this forum pops up on the first page

That echoes advice offered to the defendant by John Cadogan. I suspect the plaintiffs will not come out of this next round looking good. Although if the claim is ruled ineligible to proceed, I think it requires a separate action by the defendant to recover costs.

Seems the hole DCS may have dug for themselves might be getting deeper:

...to be clear just in terms of DCS's threatened litigation possibly increasing potential customers' awareness of the ITP Renewables report and its seemingly unflattering observation about one of DCS's products.

Disclaimer: This and my foregoing comments are obviously just my personal opinion on an important industry news event. I make no claims about DCS batteries, I have not used them or tested them.

Last five or so minutes are the real nitty-gritty of opinion - reviewer is American and therefore not so cowed by legal threat (although someone has been apparently trying - wonder who?).

Thanks Blue for posting this.

I like others, have never heard of DCS.

But I was compelled to say that, man, what was DCS thinking?
Why not just have a chat "man to man" so to speak.
Why put your company (DCS) out of business for an honest, open review?

DCS are royally fusked now even if they do succeed in getting to the next step.

Roll on October. Can't wait. I know I have a lazy fiddy to throw his way if push comes to shove.

Cheers,

One Man
