Default Aussie Motoring Survey.

If you have a copy of todays (Friday 17th June) Melbourne Herald Sun there is a survey in it. I found it quite interesting, you can also do it online.

Great Aussie Motoring Survey.

Now you can have your say about issues that are commonly brought up on the forum, although I don't know how seriously it will be taken. It's always worth voicing your opinion.

It would be interesting to see the end results of that survey.

It takes less than five minutes, depending on how fast you read. :P

Hopefully it is something that will be looked at and maybe some changes will be made. One can only hope.

Yeah i did it, some of the questions are strange and pointless, and a few of them are already law and they are asking if fines should be put in place fro them?, but hey I have had my say.

Done the survey, thanks Luvvinmy. Whether it's pointless or not, we should take the time to do these things, in the hope that something will eventuate from it.

Some of the questions where funny though...

Filled it in. Quite interesting. It should be the Government asking those questions though, not a bloody newspaper!

Well I know that after I've watched a V8 Supercar race I just want to hop in the car and do a few laps of the streets as fast as my car will go. _

I'm betting everyone ticked 'Agree' to the revenue raising questions. :hihi:

I did a bit of an Andy with most of my answers

"Don't know"

Because the questions were setup up too black & white! So they didn't get my "real" opinion since "don't know" could mean anything...

I did the same with a few, tell us your thoughts on some of them would have been better than "I don't know" or they could have put in "Undecided/Depends/Maybe" :

A friend of mine finds that he drives faster and is more impatient after a good session of Grand Theft Auto 3. Immediately after go-karting, I can get frustrated and tend to drive a little closer - but it usually subsides by the time I make it to the main roads. After watching a bit of motorsport, I might not speed more, just maybe attack the corners more agressively - when there's no-one else close by

Done, thanks for the link. I think it will be very interesting to see what the results are, and not only that, but how the results are presented - after all, they'll have a lot of responses to sort through, and there may or may not be trends, such as people in Victoria, for example, having a different opinion about one of the questions compared to, say, people from the NT.

I think it was just thrown in to guage peoples colour preferences when they're buying a car. It was put together by carsales.com.au, or at least that's where I found it.

Did it, but was annoyed a bit by the black and white of it. There was no "other" option where you could say why you agreed or disagreed, and some things reeked of Today Tonight

But thanks for the link, I wonder when the results will be out? I will pass it on to others I know.

Interesting, I voted Highway speeds up to 130, and residentual down to 50. I think that's safe and efficient. Higher speeds where they belong.
