Just thought I'd pop up a quick post to remind everyone that Steve McQueen died 25 years ago today. Coolest guy ever - not much else you can say!

Man, he was THE king of cool. His film The Getaway with Ali McGraw has some good car chase/gun stuff too, and McGraw is very easy on the eye...much better than the crap remake with Alec Baldwin & Kim Bassinger.
Don't overlook all his good films including The Sand Pebbles, Tom Horn, LeMans, The Thomas Crown Affair etc... the man could act. My favorite quote of his "I live life by my rules, and answer to nobody..." I think that sums him up.

I was watching a show the other day that went to a museum his son has set up with all his cars & bikes etc from his movies & real life in Fransisco it looked really cool. I don't normally care much for actors etc but McQueen was just cool as.
