Unless you live in Argentina, be glad Ford were offering the XE...
The other 1982 Falcon Seems to be what you get if you cross an XM with a Cortina parts bin! With an opening pic like that, I hope it's at least got Oz XP spec front suspension! :nutsycuck

It looks like a cross between an XK-XP Falcon and one of the last Cortinas

It's hideous. My eyes are burning.
I wonder if any of them were exported to other countries.

The original clay mock up of the XD that was supposed to be for Australia was basically an overgrown cortina. It got changed to the XD shape we all know due to having to drop so much weight off to match the first of the commodores that came in so much lighter. Hence all the plastic bumpers as they quickly dropped the Chrome.
(my source was a book that was brought out when the EA was born) It was the history of the Ford Falcon. I wish I still had the book I lost it moving house about 4 times ago.

Holy Crap! Look at the differences between some of the models. Talk about changing shape slower and slower. 82-91 is pretty much the same car.

Imagine getting hold of one, putting on the XP front and rear, then go around trying to convince people it's an 82 Falcon.

I was in Argentina 4 years ago, and those old Falcons were EVERYWHERE. They were Pimped, customised as well as the allround s itbox version.
I had the second fastest cab ride in my life in Buenos Aires. The fastest of course was in Rio in Brazil. They just have to do everything better and fastest than the Argentineans.
