Unhappy Power antenna problems??

Im was doing an headunit install in my mates au xr ute with a standard power antenna and i couldnt get it working so left it at that and now he is bugging me for it and im stumpped!!!!

You only need to connect the wire from the antenna (blue with a red stripe, I think) to the blue or possibly orange wire on the head unit.

There are 2 blue/red wires in the AU radio loom - make sure you have the right one. I think the other one is a speaker wire so won't work at all.

We have installed quite few of these.Unfortunately we found many aerials labelled as AU Ford aerials simply did not suit at all.If you require further assistance we are happy to give some pointers

yeah i have the correct wire. Im geussing it is the bigger of the two because speaker wires wont be different sizes. any other suggestions????
