Hello,
I have a 80 ford fiesta 1.6 kent motor. I'm looking for performance parts for it... cams .... headers.... pistons....... ect. Availability in the USA is poor. UK is an expencive route. My question is ...are these parts available there in AU? Thanks.... my email is fiestapower@burntmail.com |

I've never seen anything earlier than 2004, Europe would be your best bet.

yeah, fiesta didnt hit australia until 2004 and so we'd have minimal to none old school fiesta parts

Wasn't the Kent motor used in late Escorts? There's either that option or perhaps seeing if there is any similarity with the Laser/Mazda 323.

The kent motor was used in the old escorts. Did they import them to AU back then..

We had the Escort until 1980 at which point Ford Oz joined the front wheel drive craze and brought in the Ford Laser, a badge engineered Mazda 323.

If it uses the kent engines look for parts for escorts.
The earlest fiesta in OZ are Dec 03 build which i have one of.
