Well, after the last thread turned into a circus I closed it and have opened this up to inform those who are interested what is happening.
Car is still at G&D, we are doing some revisions to the original plan and I'll have it back late next week. I'll post up results when I get it back for those that are interested. I WONT be discussing them in detail, what I post it going to speak for itself. I wil try to answer what I know but until I get an ET and MPH to compare it to I'll generally jsut state what it is and how it feels. It will be good I'm sure but the ET can make its own points when I get it. For all those that have followed this first stage of mods, I hope you get some good info from it. I know I'll have a lot of fun playing with the car when I get back.

I can't wait to be busted. My mods for next round - no spare tyre, 20l fuel left in tank, no rear seat and my fully engineeered C.A.R. (COLD-AIR-RAMP) Piece of galvanised steel (slide) directing air straight into the snorkel . The T series only have the mesh over the grille so there is little or no obstruction to flow.

Good luck with it all Casper, I hope you get the results you're after. Its great to see G&D take on the SOHC six as well!
This can only mean good things for the NA 6 cylinder enthusiast.

Casper - just a thought. If you've done the CAI first, and then you do get a cam later, will the current CAI be suitable for the new cam (IF you get one - big IF)? Just wondering how versatile this CAI is. You already mentioned somewhere that the pipework between the I6 and the V8 is different, so would different pipework (again) be necessary if you do change cams. And if so, is that part of the original cost?

Got another question - would just the G&D pipework be beneficial using the standard airbox - ie would it in itself give any increase. I know Bucky's looking at an intake pipe, so if it gives him a bit of power to go with the **bling** he is after, then so much the better.

I had the larger intake piping from airbox to the first elbow but it was fouud to be less effective on the dyno than the stock tapered pipe on mine. No bling to be found there sorry.

G&D would manufacture their own intake to suit your car if asked, I know coz I have asked myself. You can even get them HP coated to reduce the heat, remember they do have a full time fabricator so anything is possible at G&D.
Geeez Casper, who new your mods would get that much interest. : Mick

I know the air box is a touchy subject but Glenn told me that it also gives the V8's with the tickford extrctors a real nice engine note.
