I think the next commodore should have been VD (not VE) & the next falcon BO & see who wins in the sales race i mean wat would u rather VD or BO?

I read in a Holden Commodore development book that car makers prefer to avoid codes that jokes can be easily hung on or sound awkward. I imagine that their marketing department may have pointed out VD being the abbreviation for venereal disease.
