Default which oil to use???

about to do an oil change on the mazda 3...
just wondering what synthetic oil to use, and what people on here use...
only put royal purple onhere to see if people use it...
couldnt be bothered looking for prices, im assuming theyre all around 70 to 100... for 5 litres... royal purple is a bit more ive heard...
they will just be the brand, if you like specify type...
btw, i can get caltex fully synthetic 5w40 from work... for about the cost of nothing...
