Hi all,
After fixing the boys EB, I decided (quickly), to touch up my AUII cluster. Only problem is now its back in the car wont lock! What have I done wrong. Uncle Ken  :

pull the cluster out again and push all the wires hard into the white clips , probably got a bad contact , might of accidently pulled 1 of the wires out a bit from the plastic clips when removing them/uncliping/pulling them from the cluster.
lol , this may sound silly / but its easy to forget....if its an auto , you havent got the car in 1st,2nd etc have you ??? ( had it in gear to allow room for knees etc while working ) , if its not in Park it wont lock either ..lol / well mine doesn't anyway / i accidentlly left mine in 1st the first time i worked on the dash and cfp / and the car woundn't lock. cheers .

Yes its an auto but I have put it in the garage.
Looks like I will be pulling out the cluster again. B#$%ger! Still I like the look of my brand new, non standard, turbo charged, super charged, ricer cluster. Uncle Ken

Always try to avoid pulling these type of plugs out by the wires , try to grab a hold of the actual plug/plastic clip . ;) cheers.

The way I did it was to get 3 A4 sheets of paper, fold them in half and make the oval shape. Slide that down and used some masking tape to keep it in place. The hard part was where the paper meet and the bottom
