Default Yasmin's NOT getting married

Yasmin's NOT getting married

All I can say is, I'm glad it's not on anymore.

I watched half an episode and came to a conclussion, that it wouldn't last very long.

Alot of people gave crap to BB, but atleast BB had people tuning in and watching it.

I usually shut down these threads but I just love this comment

Announcing the decision yesterday, Ten's chief programming officer David Mott said: "While we all had very high hopes for Yasmin's Getting Married, it is clear at this early stage that our audience has not embraced this bold new initiative.

I twigged when they advertised Futurama and I couldn't be happier- i'm so sick of all this crap on tv ATM- what the hell's going on? What happened to entertainment?

That show was crap to say the least. And Yasmin seemed like a mole anyway. :

She's alright. Only watched the show once. Not a fan and glad its gone. Well, she has 7 days of fame. Even if only 2% of the population was watching.

While I agree Futurama is Gold and the marriage thing was a pile c**p - What I would like to know is, what the hell was channel 7 thinking replacing American Dad and Family guy with 24?? Seriously I don't know anyone who actually stays up to watch it... Bring back futurama, bring back american dad and bring back family guy!! Some of us aren't lucky enough to have foxtel!! Completely off topic, but hey, I thought I'd add my two cents worth...

24 rocks!!!!
So does Family Guy, not so sure about American Dad yet :
I'd much rather watch 24 than either of these 2 though.
I do stay up to watch it, even when I have to be up at 5.15 to go to work.

I didn't even know this tv show existed until this morning.

Just like Wedgedale or whatever the hell that show is, and Berts Family Fued, why do these shows persist to ruin my afternoon/night when other shows like Mcalleffe Programme get axed. I'd love to do the programming.

The move to this "reality tv" with a cheap, simple formula and the fact it has flourished, IMO is indicative of a steep collapse in intelligence. These shows cost little to run in comparison to shows of quality.
It's always a bother when primary education students spend an entire class talking about Australian Idol and BB all morning and how "unreal" all the poopie that goes on is. I reckon the Turkey-Slap was a GODSEND!

Bring back 80s cartoons! He-Man, She-Ra, Thundercats, Voltron, Transformers, Machine Men. Family Guy and American Dad are awesome too.

you might be onto something there. There's got to be a reason why guys Yasmin knows don't want her. I had a laugh at the show scamming guys who don't know what Yasmin's personality is like away from the camera.

She dumped her long time relationship to jump on board for this show... so it wasn't a case noone wanted her... Wonder if he would take her back (you would hope not actually) :togo:

if I want reality I can turn the tv off. the whole idea of entertainment (imo) is to escape reality.
seinfield has a lot to answer for, a show about nothing ie. his life?

That's the smartest thing I have heard today.

I just can't get into 24.

Back on topic, Yasmin wasn't even good looking and the show lacked any entertainment value.

good ridance, especially as it's being replaced with futurama.
What's wrong with 24 anyway? Better than any of the trash on channel 7, but it does tend to be a show you either love or hate, the only reason it rates so poorly is because they started it 1 month AFTER it finished in america so all the hardcore fans had already seen it, watch the ratings drop for season 2 of prison break also as it starts in the US this month.
