The Sprint had been making some unsettling noises the past week in the drivetrain which I was dreading might be clutch related but fortunately turned out to be a front universal joint of the tailshaft on the way out.
I managed to get the ABS workshop in Kirrawee to throw it up on a hoist last Saturday and the uni joint was issue was quickly spotted. I did have a concern that the transmission mount might be worn but it seemed ok. Dropped it in Tuesday morning and collected it this morning. Noise and vibrations all gone including some movement in the shifter I had been having for some time. Very happy with the price and service of the place. Had used them once before to help replace some rear brake discs which I couldn't remove myself so I figured give them some repeat business. |
