hey just a quickie, cleaning an au engine bay is there anything i need 2 watch out for or cover up? or can i just spray on sum degreser and hose away?

Best to speak to Doc about procedure and what products to use as well as some helpful tips.
Just be carefull of your alternator and coil pack. A plastic bag and duck tape will solve that problem.

Now each to thier own on this ( and fair enough ) some would just pull up and spray away it that is all good, for me i would give a gentle all over clean then start near the top and treat one section at a time moving down the motor / engine bay detailing it as i went. |

I would advise that after washing the engine bay you go over any electrical connectors with WD40.
One replacement auto cured me of over-zealousness when it comes to engine bay cleaning. |
