I'm sure at least a few of you know the '76 short film entitled 'Rendezvous' with a supposed ferrari 275 GTB going a bit quick through Paris early one morning. browsing through my regular slew of blogs today i found this awesome site where some guy has matched up the route on the video with a google map. so you can watch exactly the route taken as the video plays above. fantastic!

That would be awesome if it didn't go so bloody slow...lol...Im an ADSL and its struggling with a huge buffer.
When I was at the arc last year, a local told me that that section around it is actually uninsurable. As in, if you drive through it; then its fair game. I think the fact that 5 or so streets merge into it might't help; and there are NO lines! Im spewing I didn't take an footage while ontop of the bus. But I think that guy came up with a better idea. I might have to Limewire that vid.

although the site says its a ferrari 275gtb with a race driver behind the wheel it was actually the director in his merc 300 with 2 passengers! the ferrari sound was dubbed over in post-production.
