I don't get it. Too much power for the street, as demonstrated. What do you do with that? Lots of power for the strip, but if the engine is street tame then you had to hold back on power building and not meet the engines true potential. Not good for the street and detuned for the track.

I don't get it.

What's not to get? 1000hp flick switch so the boost is able to reach it's max potential, throw in some race fuel and 2000hp. Being dosile to drive too and from the track after running a 7 is every racers dream.

Building.

Hey, I like power as much as the next guy, but carring a howitzer on my shoulder won't give me any advantages. Yeah, it's big on power, but....

I am pretty sure John Force's 7,000 HP car won't cruise on the street. It's reached it's full potential of what it is for. I am just all about purpose built. If this guy can drive that thing in a somewhat tame manner on the street then he held back on building the engine if he was building a race car.

Yeah, plenty of people will be able to beat my car on the dragstrip. That's fine. It will be respectable in power on the street, be able to drive 35 mph all day in summer heat, and cruise nicely on the highway on the way to cruises and shows. It'll surprise a few people and it will be a ton of fun for me. That's the purpose of my car. Not a world beater, just very fun.
