I think it should be made illegal to talk politics while both the NRL and AFL finals series are on as well as Rugby world cup. I mean we have to keep our priorities right.

A topic won't last when we have negitive comments from the beginning. It will last if people could just see that others have an opinion and are intitled to it, and don't personally attack each other. We are, after all, here cause we love Ford, one big happy family.
 _ I didn't vote in the above poll because this is my first federal election after only turning 18 last year. From what I see it's doesn't matter who you choose. You choose so-n-so because it will lower taxes which means more money for you but then education gets less money which disadvantages your kids. Where the other side says it will increase taxes and put more money into education. Then you just get royally screwed by whoever in the end anyway. I'd support a goverment that worked towards getting more national standards and laws implented. It's stupid having to figure what road rules are different in each state. I'd like to see the education system become more national as well. Vic has an ENTER and QLD has some OP1-9 rating system. QLD has one less year of schooling then most other states. Although, I have had it with John Howard! and those damn eyebrows!

I vote liberal because of there conservative budgets, They don't have the big deficit's of the ex communist party (labour)
Though It will be in my benefit once labour wins the next federal election, Inflation will increase along with interest rates, National debt will surge and the population will not be able to service it, resulting in an Australia wide house price crash, bringing it back down to reality making it feasible for young people like myself to enter the market again. |
