Made the trip up to Bathurst on the weekend for the big race! Awespme weekend.
Took part in the drivers parade lap again and wondered if any of the other utes belonged to forum members. Know Brute6 is, who else? Looked great and was a credit to Ford for organising. Very well done. The holden utes for the holden drivers were all diff models, diff colours, no sports bars to hang onto, and had the drivers names at the top of the windscreen in small writing. Fords looked schmicko! Here's a few pics. And there were lots of other good sights around the track to look at!! |

Yep, Brute6 had the pleasure of taking Lowndes and Whincup around the mountain and giving them a few tips of how to win............

I had the unfortunate job of chauffeuring Mr Lowndes and Mr Whincup around the circuit for the parade. Was an awesome feeling driving the track on race day, and to be involved this year, with what has happpened, was sensational.
Great job Ford for the organising again, and compared to the poor offerings from Holden, was a great specticle!! :

Awesome Pics!! You're right, from what I can see there the FORD parade looks so much more polished than the holdens.

All the stuff we get to do at sandown usually, lap in a course car, pit walk, lap in the ute, just no chopper flight! Might have to invest some dough with WPS and see if i can get a spin in their chopper!! |
