Default Anyone got info on ford C5 gearbox?

I think i have heard of it but not sure.

Google came up with nothing.

I went to ebay america and there were some parts for a C5 but not many.

I get the impression its another name for a c4 or parts are interchangeable?

Anyway, post up history if you have any and what motors they bolted up to.

Also, reliability details.....

Cheers.

Built from 1982 - 1986 Case length same as C4 but pan has a hump in it whereas the C4 has a flat pan.
Not an overdrive tranny. Not even that widely used. Avoid.
