I have my 1600 up for sale as the time has come to put the 2L into the escort. It's a great motor, runs awesome, and since rebuild I've never had any real drama's with it. It's a perfect motor for a daily driver. Extra information is below.
- engine was fully rebuilt almost 20,000km's ago (cost $1200) - 711M block - lukey headers (only headers, no exhaust) - brand new alternator and belt - new Daikin heavy duty clutch - modified cam (slightly mild) - serviced every 5000km's - new thermostat housing - new water pump - block, head and tappet cover painted black at the time of rebuild - standard carburettor with a small ram flo filter   I'm after around $700 for it as I have spent well over double that amount on this motor. I can also include the 4spd gearbox at a negotiated price if it's required. I will upload more picture of the motor out of the car if anybody is interested.
