Default What wheels should a 2000 XR6 VVT come with?

Can anyone point to a pic showing the original wheels on the 2000 XR6 VVT? There are two sets of wheels that I tend to see a lot of, and I don't know which is which. Thanks :sm_headba

Whats an XR6 VVT? You mean VCT?

There are a few getting around, but I think the standard ones are the "twisty" 5 spoke 16" rims...

Like these... Could be wrong, I know the standard was the 16", with the option being a 17".

Do you mean VCT? If it's an AU1 & has the body kit, it should come with the AU1 17s, otherwise the 5 fingered spoke 16s. If it's an AU2, it will probably come with the S style 16s, but may come with the AU2 17s as an option.

AU1 17s:

99% sure that from AU2 onwards the XR6 HP got the 16" rims standard but XR6 VCT and XR8 had the 17" rims standard. Could be wrong though.

The buzz-saw rims are cool.
My XLS ute came with them when I got it.

Here's an old pic of it when i first bought it:

Oh how I wish I could get AU XR8 II wheels or these in 18 or 19 inch. I have the above, but they are only 16" as you've said.

Just to clarify, the 16" buzz saw rims were standard on the AUII XR6 VCT. When the late edition AUII was released in April/May 2001, the VCT became standard with the 17" rims.
