Default Brilliant! Coshy gets OWNED!

While eating breaky I usually watch Sunrise as atleast those people have a bit of personality. I must say that, I have a love/hate relationship with Coshy as sometimes he thinks he knows it all and just craps on.

Anyway, those who watch Sunrise will know that they are pushing the whole Global Warming thing pretty hard, almost shoving it in our faces.

This morning they had some guy on who I think works for/with some weather company. Coshy was being his pushy self and ranting on how the CEO's of leading banks and insurance companies have commented on how global warming is to blame for all the recent (yeah right) severe weather.

Every single time Coshy quoted someone this other guy shot him down so quickly, and his right. Of course Banks are going to say that, it makes them look good taking the "green approach" and insurance companies are just out to scare everyone and also take the good publicity.

It was so refreshing for someone to finally talk some common sense!

Coshy was struggling, looking through his notes and Mel had to step in at the end and say the good old line "I think we will agree to disagree".

What a great start to the morning.

I saw it my self.Coooshy invited him on the show, it sounds like to to discredit him.Becuase he called him a "goose"but really made himself look stupid and suggests they are all just beating the corprate drum to "look good for society" .which I beleive to a degree.I wanted to shake his hand.
I dont mind Cosh but this he needed.

Koshy deserved it. He tried to set this guy up to look lik a tool.. and the guy saw it coming and backed Koshy into a corner and beat him with intelligence.

Koshy wont be pulling a stunt like that again soon..

Coshy is so self righteous, was great to see him get pulled down a couple of pegs. :monkes:

Yeah I was happy to see Koshie put in his place this morning, I too have a love hate relationship with him. I loved how he kept on sorting through his notes to find something else to get the guy but he couldnt. : I really only used to watch Sunrise for Grant Denyer!

Grant is a champion, the fact that his a reasonable steerer helps his case aswell.

They do seem to be pushing the global warming thing a bit too hard. They seem a bit high and mighty about it and sooner or later someone was going to give it to them, today was that time. The show has certainly lost a bit since Denyer left. The new girl is just a blonde bimbo and has a screaming voice. You wont see her jumping out of helicopters breaking world records.

Sunrise would be nothing without Kochie. It would be just another crappy breakfast show.

I love it how he get's ripped on Comedy Inc though, same with John Howard :

I cant stand mell and Kochie the only reason i watch it is becasue as muvh as I hate them I like the show's more relaxed nature (over the Today show that is) personaly I think replace those 2 with Andrew Okeath or Simon Reeve put Nat in Mell's seat full time and Kily Gillies (I think her name is) in Nats spot as for the weather chick I cant stand her or the new one at night I dont want to say bring back grant becasue he needs to better him self form weather clown, although it will be interestign to see him fill in for Kochie next week, I dont think he has the host personality but lets see.

Now on to topic I missed it I was in the shower and came out to hear the lets jsut agree to dissagree and my wife was craking her self saying this guy just mentaly ***** slaped kochie, does any one have a Youtude link? I need to see this

I was very happy when Sunrise first started because they were new, fresh and keen as opposed to the idiots on CH9 (leedman & twacey). It was a refreshing change to not have arrogant, self centered, narrow minded, opinionated, holier than thou muppets on the screen.

But as the wise men say, what comes around, goes around......

David Kosh has passed his use by date and is now just another steve leedman or ray martin.

I now usually watch CH9 and especially Ms Murdoch who has no need to work for money or fame but just does what I believe is a bloody good job. (Now if they could just get rid of dickie and that yank fairy).

P.S. Message to channel 7 execs. Next time you want to broadcast an "exciting" debate remember the old adage. Never take a knife to a gun fight.........

The interview was with Andrew Bolt writer for the Herald Sun. He is also on a news program on the abc. I don't agree with most of his opinions but he is very intelligent and very good at speaking. He makes a living off his opinions and needs to be able to back them up some how so he is very well researched.

Kochie doesnt really interview anyone in Andrew Bolts league so it was very funny to watch him get put in his place at every single point he made.

I didn't see it but I agree with RAMD67. I have met and heard Andrew Bolt on a few occasions and he is very well researched. Again I don't always agree with him but it would take a brave man to take him on as he really does research everything BEFORE he comments.

Would love to have seen it this morning..

Andrew Bolt is a champ, even if you don't agree he always makes a good point with plenty to back it up.

I like how his daughter is travelling the world "raising money for some charity" what a load of shite the airfares for the trip would be more than the money raised.

Coshy goes to my gym. He's quite the chubby one, although the magic of television hides most of this... he weighs around ~120kg.
