Question Engine stalls

Hey folks, I've got an AUII on LPG and i just put a low mileage series 1 engine in it a month ago. Been running well for weeks, but now when i brake to a stop at intersections or roundabouts, the engine stalls. Restart and away i go, till i jump on the brakes again. Although it only occurrs after the first 10 mins of driving. Prior to that it's ok. What do you guys think? Booster still holds a vacuum mind you. Crazy stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks eh.

Check your base idle and clean your throttle body. These two should fix your problems.

Base idle is about 800 rpm. Throttle body is near new. Lpg mixer is brand new. The common denominator appears to be the brake booster. But car has great brakes.

have you checked the isc valve? it sits on top of the throttle body, give that a clean as well...does it do it if you put it in neutral before you brake?

the question that should be asked is does it do it on LPG only, or is it doing it on petrol too? LPG only could be a couple of things, the converter sesitivity screw is not set properly, stepper motor/highflow is set incorrectly, or you have tar in the converter. since you have said it only seems to happen for a short while untill the car has warmed up, i would be guessing that it has something to do with the tar senario. check your idle solinoid by removing it (there are springs inside so be carefull) and checking for black sticky substance on the post. if there is, get it cleaned and re-tuned by your local gas mechanic and you will find all will be good again. also for more handy hints and tips, check out the LPG forums further down the list in the main screen.
