Default Spy Shot: Ford Iois X SUV

Well we have to keep in mind that that is just an artist render heavily based on the CX-7. It is just somebobies interpretation of what this still unnamed vehicle is goint to look like. Is not official from Ford.

The platform is the Euro Focus' C1 platform, also used in Volvo's S40, V50 and C70 and in the Mazda3 and modified for the Mazda CX-7.

This vehicle is the size of a Escape not en Edge.

Yep, Focus SUV.

Why people can't seem to differenciate between a spy shot and a artists impression baffels me..

It's a ComGen guys not the real thing.

I think the lights will looks alot more like the show car NOT like today's Focus.

Remember there is an all new Focus late next year so this small AWD will have styling cues from that car NOT the current one.

The new SUV from Ford Europe will use more kinetic design, much like the new mondeo and similar features taken from the S-Max, the design used in th Mk2 Focus is dead, just look at the new C-Max.

Yep agree - look at this :

http://www.autoblog.com/2006/09/28/p...pics-and-info/

It'll be a toned down version of this.

The Volvo XC60 is this:

So I think the Ford version will be a lot more 'out there' !

I agree with the above, so therefore they can take the Escape into the woods and shoot it.

And when it goes on sale here it will sell well, a perfect RAV4 competitor. Ford are bringing in some good product to start taking on Toyota in every segment it can.
