Default Nos??

Hey guys,

Thinking of getting Autobarn to install NOS in my Series 1 AU Forte,

What do you think?? I know its illegal but will I get much more speed or
is it over-rated?

Only useful for the track. If you use it on the road theres a fair bet you'll end up walking for a very long time.

Not worth the Risk , especially getting Autobarn to Install it rather than a Qualified Mechanic ..

Because it is very illegal and your license will be inserted into the nearest orifice by any cop catching you.. and it wont be back for a few years. Not that you could afford to drive anyhow after the $10K+ fine.

Not necessarily.. but if you don't have it tuned right you could have the engine from God and still melt it. I'd do a lot more research into it first before you make any decisions.

Oh, and for god sake don't let the Autobarn guys fit it.. they wont anyhow but dont even consider it. Get it done by an accredited performance shop.

Total waste of time for a street car. what are you going to do with it street race?dyno comps? Drag race? save your money. It could be a big problem no insurance will cover you if you have a big prang and you could easily get caught if you have silly ideas about how you could use the NOS on the street.

If I've learnt anything thing from games. It's that all you have to do is slap a NOS bottle in your back window then when you will it, your car will shoot blue flame from the zorst and everything will go blurry. Then of course all you have to do it wait till it refills itself.

On a side note. Where did this idea come from? I mean theres so many other things that can be done for a car rather than using such an insane fuel additive that was obviously thought up of by a evil monkey scientist with an eye patch.

So much dribble in such a small thread. If you intend to use it on the track only and have it set up right it will give good gains.

Lots of things are illegal, that doesnt mean they dont work.

Ill be running a small shot to help my turbo spool up if its as laggy as I think it will be. Not on the street though. Racing on the street is stupid.

just for the record, autobarn would never even think about installing it! If anything like that comes up we always send to qualified people, that way if anything goes wrong you beat down their door not ours :hihi:
