Default Newish

G'day all, thought its best time to give everyone a formal greetings on here, posted nearly 40 posts even before making a grand entrance... shame, shame on me....

I'm a Radiator Specialist first and foremost, yet I am rather multi-skilled. Currently employed as a CAD operator/Parts designer/IT Support/the list goes bloody on.... the company actually is the biggest in Australia building Power Installation Equipment in the larger scale sector (Truck mounted cranes, Cable Stands, Bullwheels etc.)

I currently own 5 cars but only 1 runs now.
1987 FE LTD (first car and soon to be my project car)
1994 XG 1tonne Ute (daily driver, but requiring some mods)
1992 Mitsubishi Verada wagon (for sale)
1982 Mazda 929 LTD Coupe' (modded little beast)
1979 Chrylser Scorpian (for sale)
I can answer any questions as people ask, it doesnt worry me... I'll also post questions in the relivant Sub-forums.

BTW, I'm also a Moderator in another Australian Car Forum, so i kinda know what not to say and stuff. LOL.

Oh dear...

I drive through there every day. Up in the daytime when the main street when the reverse parking system is at it's worst and back down at night when the locals are at their best

I know its an old cliche, but the only good thing in Moree is the "thank you for visiting Moree" sign... My family live in Inverell... How come you in that neck of the woods mate? Obviously not a local, you have a job! :P j/k

That's funny ... would have to one of the best ways to describe Moree.
Have been through there ... and have been told never to stop there as well.

Ah yes. The only set of lights in town and they go through their cycle 24 hrs a day. I really enjoy stopping for no bloody reason at 01:00!

Every time I leave Moree I look in the mirrors to (hopefully) see if there's a mushroom cloud behind me ...

I do the same thing when leaving Syd as well!

Welcome mate. Wanna enlighten us Southerners exactly what it is about Moree that makes it "special" ? LOL. Is it just remote or small or something?

Hmmm radiator specialist huh? Know much about AUI Falcon radiators????

Ahhhh .. Moree ... don't leave your car parked there for too long ... it won't have petrol left in the tank.

Actually Jac and I are coming across weird overheating issues with AUs at the moment .... her parents AUI is having issues ... and my AUII ute is having issues (long story ... pain in the preverbial).

I know one day I'll get to the bottom of it all though.

Not true!

They'd take the whole petrol tank, but seeing as it pretty hard getting the tank out they just take the whole car.

Thanks mate. I did have a read and I have emailed him your post. That is interesting since the radiator guy did say that the new one should stand up to the heat... but who knows, it still may not be enough.

Good point re the airflow/cooling though... I will see what he says.

Thanks for that

Jac

No problems....In the radiator game, I simply see no need to withold information to the public regarding their cooling systems. If I had a scanner I'd even consider scanning the Tech Bulletin and posting it on here for everyone to see.

Well, at least they wouldn't nick your scanner. they wouldn't know what it's for
