I'm a kiwi, but a Jaffa (Aucklander) so can't help you too much. Queenstown is beautiful thats for sure.

I'm sure you'll find thousands and thousands of websites that will help you though!

Im also a kiwi, Queenstown is a bueatiful place, lots to do and see is also a bit of an adventure type place, jetboat tours, flying etc, the place thrives on tourists and subsequently is very expensive, so take lots of coin.

My brother in law is marrying a kiwi in January so my wife, her family and I are all flying over. Ceremony is at Stoneridge Lodge and reception at Gantley's Restaurant so any suggestions as to where 7 adults and 1 baby can stay nearby would be very much appreciated.

Both Stoneridge and Gantleys are within 10 - 15 min of the Queenstown CBD so any accomodation in Queenstown would be convenient or Arrowtown would be just as handy.

Check out the link for places to stay for differing budgets...

Been down to Queenstown and Wanaka 3 times now and the autumn colours are brilliant. April - May is a good time
