Default panel repairs.

Is it possible for minor damage to a front quarter panel to be done within a day? Very minor bend, and minor paint damage. Probably not I know, but the car cant be off the road

I'd say it will take two days at least. They gotta let the paint dry. Have you thought about just getting a replacement panel in the same colour?

I had my front quarter panel repaired and resprayed. They had it for 2 days because the paint had to dry overnight.

i have to do the same thing, my front left panel needs to be re-bent back to its original shape and possibly re-sprayed...depending how bad it gets as it goes back into shape. im going to do it myself, costs a lot less, but i know it will take the couple of days to allow the paint to dry. if you cannt have the car off the road for longer then 1 day, go to the wreckers and get a new guard.

We only loan our car to those that desperatly need it,a 2day job doesn't really fit that bill.

Surely you can get by for a couple of days, plan well ahead.

I have picked up 2 cars within a few hours of being resprayed - the first one I picked up so wet that I left fingerprints on the door! The other one, they bogged it and prepped it the day before, then sprayed it that day, and I picked it up that afternoon. Dropped off a front ended car, with 2 kicked in doors and dents all over, and picked it up the next day fixed, debadged, total respray and all dents fixed!

Having said all that, if you actually care about the car, I wouldn't suggest picking it up the same day, the paint really does need to dry.

In my cases, the cars were boxes so it didn't matter!

true, but if you as the customer explain the situation and the loaner is available, I'm sure you'd lend it out

Yeah, work ute so cant be off the road.

New gaurds, great idea! How much (approx) ????

Having a rotten run. Some ***** smacked my driver side quarter and dislodged one end of the bullbar, and today I rubbed the other side against a concrete poll in a loading bay!!!! Bah, nothing for years and within two days....

Ahhhh could be worse!

Buying new gaurds sounds good as it allows me to keep the car on the road. Godd thinkin' 99.

Not too bad, thanks for that.

Might check out wreckers as well. Need white ones, so there are probably a few floating around, and no need to get things painted then.
