Default Mysterious pink bits......

Has anybody else with an XR8 got a dob of pink paint on the platform that holds your coil packs?! Ive seen a few with it, mine has it, and I've got no idea what it is.

Any ideas?

Mine did have it but I don't like pink so it went away. Stuffed if I know why it was there though.

its usually to signify if a recall etc has been performed, once done they mark it with something, in this case a pink dot....

Usually marked by an inspector during installation at factory to show that something has been checked or added correctly to the car.

during assembly a lot of removeable bolt and nuts get marked in position. cheap quick trick to get bolts back to previous torque specs or rotating parts to get them back to the balanced position

thats how we do it at work
