Does anyone know if there is any truth to the Allan Moffat Special as listed here on ebay? Ebay (Allan Moffat Special)

Yep.They were mainly cosmetic,paint etc..

The only one I have seen was a two door. Had Moffat's signature and a Aust flag on the doors under the wing mirrors.
Seems there was some 302’s four doors built. (Not confirmed)
Another one in Toowoomba, same colour, but it has the flag and signatures.

THat ebay car looks very like an Allan Moffat Special.
They were nothing too special tho.
Nice option pack, 302, GS Kit (grille, scoops dash), XB like black outs.
"touring suspension" - ithink. tho by 78 i think all falcons had this.

No mechanical stuff

That said, thery were a nice car.

the 2 door I think was a non factory job, by Peter Arcadipane called "October Car" to celebrate my username.

Again Looks like one,

They were red or white 302 4 doors. Basic option up kit So the description seems right. Also as stated they had a sicker of an aussie flag on the front door with a signature under it.

take 2 and I think the lime and pine ones were Alan Grice Specials.

Yep,been a few threads in the classic section about these.As everyone has said,a basic option pack,much like the ambrose/ingall packs on the ba's today.

yeah my brother had one of these. yellow & black sedan 302 4sp borg warner box & diff. moffat sticker on the door was about the size of a fag packet.
