Default need power

whats the best way to get power from a 5 litre with a 7 grand budget i will need someone to do the work and what power roughly will it make at the wheels

I wouldnt stroke it, there is nothing wrong with the bottom end.
I would get a good set of alloy heads, better lower and upper intake manifolds, nasty cam, set of extractors, cold air intake + MAF, and a Edit tune.

one word, supercharger...

well it all comes down to how much power you want to make and what you want to do with the car, as for getting power out of it, start with exhaust, intake, and tune and go from there

x2...a 302 can make great power with the right heads/cam/intake combo.

A stroker with the std heads/intake will be very limited in the amount of (peak) power that it can make.

It all depends on what sort of power you want and when you want it to kick in. Also depends on your budget, is 7k your planned final figure, or just what you have to play with now
