At the moment my clutch pedal sits about 2 inches above my brake pedal and only take up in the last 2 cm or maye even less.....also it doesn't slip at all.....is there an adjustment in the car to fix the pedal hieght or does it have to be done at the gearbox????
I am guessing that it need may need a new clutch!!! Hope you guys or gals can help....cheers Rory!

Adjust it at the firewall, theres an adjusting nut there.
It should sit just above the brake pedal, usually when it starts to get higher, you should adjust it again. they are a pain, mine gets adjusted frequently, maybe its the clutch you have? |

By memory they're meant to have a 145mm of travel, and thats what the bolt changes. However i could be wrong on the travel measurement.

Pull on the clutch cable where it comes through the fire wall to give some slack and back the nut away from the fire wall 2 turns and start from there. that will bring your take off point closer to the floor. Put it in gear and feel where the friction point is and go further out or back in a bit to suit your feel.

If its not corrected by the above adjustment, these have trouble with pedal boxes from time to time and bent clutch pedals.

Also check that the pedal return spring has not broken. This will make the pedal come out further than it usually does.
