For $50 a pair they are a cheap upgrade if you are changing from series 1 front end.
That is true... but i want to go straight for either the Tickford ones or B-series... Sorry mate...

AU2 brakes are plenty adequate lol

i just remembered i got my old brakes in my shed with discs lol

discs will need machining but. i put BA XR brakes on my car, and i dont think the braking improved at all maybe we didnt bleed them properly lol but its heaps cool saying that you put bigger brakes on your car.

seriously, those calipers are cheap. i'd get them. anything is better than series 1.

plus those calipers will still fit under 16" rims. any bigger and you'll prolly need 17's.

I have an AU2 and have some RDA slotted rotors and pads ready to fit.

Will I notice improved braking performance?

True... but that $100 for both sets can always go towards either Tickford units or B-series units...

I'm going 17's anyway... when i get them finished that is :P

PBR did make the Tickford brakes, they look totally different to the standard brakes, besides the wings (which are hard to miss!) they're a floating caliper.

au2 or 3 stub axles

in saying that, i just put slotted rotors on the rear of mine, as in just, only taken it for a quick drive to bed them in a bit, but i reckon it feels as good as the bf xr6 ute i drove today, if not better...i now have slotted's all round, but i will have a better idea after a couple of hundred km when they bed in properly...oh, and the handbrake seems to work better too
