i am a new driver and bought a 1996 ford ferstiva gli about a month ago,
my clutch is needed to be replace and therefore i replace it for 600bucks. but start from last week, when my car is warm, there are some sound when i push on the gas if the RPM is lower than 2000, if i keep on pushing the gas, there is nothing happen and still running well. if my car is cold, there is no sound in my car and runs well. sorry for my poor english, can you guys give me a big picture before i went to the work shop? Thx a lot.. |

you have to describe the sound as best as you can and approx where it's coming from.

right driver side, yesterday when i drove to the city, the sound is appeared when the temperature go up, if the temperature go down, the sound is disappear, seem like when the fan is turn on, the sound comes on.

is the fan electric on these things? If so, you can let the car warm up, pop the bonnet and wait for the fan to kick in. You should be able to tell then if it's coming from the fan. May be worn bearings.

if i do not put on the gas, there is no sound, will it be expensive if replace the bearing?

If the noise is only at a certain RPM then I doubt it has anything to do with the Fan. It may be engine related and it's very hard to diagnose it online. You'll just have to get it checked out by a mechanic.
