anyone got a silver face tickford cluster? i just fitted one to my car and it has blue back lighting. it is slightly dull on one side of the klm's and the red behind the needles is really bright. i was told as it was new the speedo will come good and the red needles will die down a bit.
are they like this or have i got a dud one? |

If it is dull on one side of the Km's, you will probably need to replace one of two globes that lights up this area. Quite simple to do and globe is about $5 from ford spare parts.

Pretty common that whenever you mess around with a cluster you blow a bulb or two, it just happens. Thats your best bet.

Has anyone bought the silver background, not the cheap tacky white one for $70 the other ones that are on there. Are they any good?

Chief buy a real TE50 cluster, has silver background, and if youre going to do the Fairmont dash swap it'll drop right in and give you the door ajar screen etc etc as well.

LG is yours a genuine mask? Ive got a genuine cluster but I wasnt aware that you could buy just the masks from Ford?

Yes, you can just buy the Masks.

Got a genuine one and looks the goods to, not the cheap $70, orginal Tickford. Cheif I have a spare one which has a slight mark in it (from previous owner) you can have that for free if you like
