hi guys
just wandering my au has extractors sports cat back exhaust and k&n filter.Im looking at replacing spark plugs but was unsure of gap on plugs?Do i gap them standard or after above mods will they need a bigger or smaller gap? Its not a vct.What gaps are you guys running and have found to be best?

extractors and air filter do not equal changed spark plug gap.

Dont need to change spark plug gap with the above mods.
As for what spark plug it depends on who you ask. Ask 1000 people get 1000 different opinions. Speak to useless and he has tried and tested a fair few pluags and may be able to point you in the right direction.

Just get factory spec plugs with factory spec gap ... there's really bugger all difference ... you won't notice when driving (except is the old plugs are at the end of their life ... the news ones will feel a lot differernt.)
There's no real need for Iridiums in N/A petrol models ... except for longevity ... mainly used in turbo and LPG models for better spark and lack of mis-fire when needed.

somewhere between 1.0 to 1.1 is fine for NA cars
Turbo ones are normally between .7 to .8 high boost applications i have seen em gapped as low as .4 (what a waste of time taht was) to .6

4.0L Gap incl I6HO runs 1.0mm - 1.1mm
4.0L Gap on LPG runs 0.9mm
